Um... but what if someone GIVES you a two year old one with 40K miles so your family can have a nice reliable car in Mexico??? We are happy with ours and haven't had any probs at all ! :)
Sorry I pulled out the "missionary card" on you! :) You live in the land of plenty and can buy whatever you want within reason. I, however, must take what is given to me and be grateful... he he
BUT who in the world would imagine that we would even be discussing the topic of MINI-VANS??? Ten more years and we will be talking about motorcycles and sports cars... (that makes me kind of sad now that I think about it!)
I'm the one who swore to my husband I would not be a mother who drove a mini-van...I'm sporting a Dodge Grand Caravan that actually is missing two hubcaps - that is on my list of things to fix VERY soon! It's amazing how life changes with kids.
Well Jan, I hate to burst your bubble here, but our minivan WAS given to us with less than 40K miles AND less than two years old AND it still has at least 2 years left on the warranty. Kim's mom and stepdad gave it to us when they moved back to Idaho. I'm VERY grateful for what they did and I certainly don't look at a gift horse in the mouth (or however that saying goes), but I'm telling all of you that it has been the BIGGEST PIECE OF CRAP ever. We have to get the brakes fixed everytime we have the oil changed (3 months). At our last "oil change" we had nearly a dozen things that needed fixed. Thankfully the dealer has been good with us, but we don't take it to the Ford dealership in town (they're awful) - we take it over a half hour away to a different dealership.
~laughing~ now Hoddie ... about three weeks ago I was in the perfect position to hook you up with some new hubs ... but noooooo there were kids present ~laughing~ so I had to shelve my devious ways. At least if you had let me indulge then ONE mini-van would have had ALL hubs and one would have had none ... so much more symetrical ... ~sighs~
AKA Rodney Morris. I married Kim Williamson in 1993. We have 2 daughters. After graduating from Appalachian State University in 1997 with a BS in Music Industry, I began working at Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association as an audio tech/post-production audio mixer. After traveling the world and the seven seas (arrrggg!), we decided to move to Florida, where I'm now a freelance audio engineer in TV field productions.

Don't get me started on Al Gore!
Didn't you know if it wasn't for him we wouldn't have the internet.
I think I need to lie down now...

I can't believe Jan pulled out the missionary card to make you feel bad.
You might as well delete the post.
I can't sympathise...I drive an Odyssey. I think it's actually made here in America

Sorry, I've been away for several days.
