I'm Still Here

I've been away for the last week working on a fishing show for ESPN and haven't had access to a computer. There will be more blogs to come, but for now I just want to say that if you've never listened to Alistair Begg preach, then you're missing out on great Biblical exposition.

I was wondering where you were this week and was getting kinda worried. I have checked every day for a new post and have come away missing your -voice-. I am glad you are back and look forward to what you've got to say next.

Bright blessings to you and the wholeeeeeeeee fambly unit!

When you go away, can you divulge your on location locations? I'm always fascinated when people travel. Do you ever get to come to Monterrey, Mexico?

Thanks for the kind words Caroline. I have some ideas for new posts, but I'm not sure if I have the guts for it.

Jan, technically I'm not really allowed to divulge information on a show if it's a pilot or something new, but this was bass fishing tips and techniques segments will air before Basscenter starting in July. We were working at Disney on Lake Buena Vista (ESPN is owned by Disney). I haven't been to Mexico in a few years. I was in Vera Cruz then. My last international trip was to Ecuador back in November. I've been on every continent except Antarctica, though I was in Hobart, Tazmania which is only 1 of 2 ports that services Antarctica. So I was really close. I've been to many of the "garden" spots of the world as well - Sudan, Bosnia, Kosovo, etc... I turned down a trip to Iraq. The majority of my work however is local - I only travel overseas once or twice a year.

Glad your back. I always check your blog, even on days I don't have time to blog myself. By the way, could you remind Kim she has a blog! :)

Yeah, now that school is out, there's no reason Kim shouldn't be blogging. But honestly, it's just not her thing.

I'll always second a vote for Alistair Begg! He recorded an episode of his radio show here in Seattle last fall, so we got to see him speak live. It was great!
